Part of the Kids Design Weekend, here’s an opportunity to leave your mark on Sydney Design 2011. Kids and their families can participate in a dynamic workshop led by UK-based artist Shane Waltener, and add your own personal touch to the giant knitted and looped installation in the Turbine Hall. Using yarn and string, knitted and knotted together, visitors get to immerse themselves in a growing lace sculpture as well as experience the value of making collaborative art.
For ages 6 years+. All adults must be accompanied by at least one child. Children must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 3 children per adult.
